Story

Operating 14 global websites, STANLEY Engineered Fastening had developed an inconsistent digital presence. The company had grown rapidly through acquisition. As a result, product managers, dealers, engineers, customer service and sales representatives had trouble searching and locating available parts.

Arke took a deep dive into user experience, reviewing all available research to uncover user needs. We identified five key personas and the pain points of their customer journeys. Then we leveraged that learning to create a cleaner information architecture.

Results

Arke’s redesigned STANLEY Engineered Fastening website launched in early 2018 and has been very well received by users in the United States.

The new site will serve as the model for all other STANLEY Engineered Fastening global websites, and build a more consistent footprint for the brand.

Plans for the project’s next stage include migration of additional global sites, beginning in 2019.
