ATLANTA — Arke executives collaborated with leading customer experience professionals to define, discuss, and design paths for successful digital transformation at a daylong conference here today. More than 100 clients and partners attended the exclusive, invitation-only Arke CX Summit at the Buckhead Club.

Arke VP of Strategy Margaret Wise led the conversation. She warned attendees that it is essential to address the expectations of today’s consumers. Customers have “outrageous expectations” of the experiences they want your business to provide — and addressing them is the only way to sustain a competitive edge, she said.

Arke CX Summit Speakers and Panelists

During the daylong forum, Wise introduced a succession of speakers and panelists who are leading customer experience initiatives at their own companies, including:

  • Jamie Miller, digital marketing manager, Operations, D.R. Horton
  • Kelly Brock, marketing director, Industrial and Automotive Segment, UPS
  • Michael Lage, senior manager of digital experience, Chick-fil-A
  • Sabrina Sexton, director of digital marketing, Stanley Black & Decker
  • Bryan Hardman, director of marketing technology, Herschend Family Entertainment
  • Michelle Montgomery, vice president of marketing, Serta Simmons

Mo Bunnell, founder and CEO of the Bunnell Idea Group, a high-level business development consulting firm, closed the day. Businesses need to stop selling and start listening, he said. It’s the only way to gain the expertise they need to help their customers reach their goals.

Workshops Enabled Active Participation

Wise and Chris Spears, Arke co-founder and CMTO, kicked off the event with two targeted facilitated workshops. Through a series of interactive exercises, attendees gained deeper understanding of journey mapping and the strategic adoption of marketing technology.

“The workshops were great conversation starters. They shed a lot of insights on challenges like aligning our cross functional teams,” said Ashley Boggs, vice president of marketing at Deposco, a cloud-based, ecommerce order management and fulfillment software company.

Amanda Johnson, director of customer relationship marketing at Herschend Family Entertainment, was equally enthusiastic about the workshop, noting they provided an excellent forum for sharing insights with other professionals.
