Job Description

Arke is actively searching for a Digital Project Manager to join our family marketers, technologists, creatives, designers, writers, coders, architects, data geeks, and business strategists. Our culture is one where diverse perspectives are valued. We’re a rainbow of avid photographers, home-brewers, artists, musicians, sports fiends, gamers and fans of peach cobbler. Our passions and differences keep us growing. We are all united by a common passion. In a complex world, we streamline and simplify.

Our mantra? Think Customer First.

We view our work through the eyes of end-users. We walk in their shoes.

This role is responsible for leading projects or individual program work streams.  Our client is ambitious and working on big, new things.  We’re searching for someone that is an avid publisher and storyteller. Not only do you produce status reports and financial forecasts, your present distilled insights with a point of view backed by sharp clarity. You love details, but you don’t feel compelled to overwhelm people with them.  The role is very rewarding, yet not for the weak at heart.  You’ll work hard at work, but have a great work/life balance too.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the scope, schedule, and budget on projects and individual program workstreams, as well as advance Arke project management methodology.
  • Exemplify strategic thinking for account planning support.
  • Be the driver in financial and resource management forecasting, preparing, and running meetings.
  • Distribute and balance the workload of team members, while managing risks.  The team must view you as their advocate.
  • Be an influencer, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating alignment and effecting change as needed.
  • Maintain project plans as well as backlogs and initiate change orders.
  • Lead client-facing discussions related to status, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support the creation of new business / new work orders.
  • Advance the Arke project management methodology.
  • Travel 10 – 20% in heavy – light cycles.

Your Background & Profile:

  • You MUST have experience Digital Marketing Technology.
  • Being a Certified ScrumMaster is a plus. We are embedded in a traditional Scrum process and this position involves timely coordination with the ScrumMaster and Product Owner.
  • Experience with Jira and Sitecore are pluses, but having worked in another ticketing system or CMS is also acceptable.
  • Experience leading software development projects is in your recent career path, as is experience with Microsoft-stack technology projects (e.g. ASP.NET, SharePoint, Azure, Windows).
  • Yes, everyone says strong communication skills, but we really mean it.  You must be able to adjust your communication style as needed to achieve results.  Your written skills must be exemplary, as much of this role is performed through documentation, writing requirements, various chat channels, and status reporting.
  • Your attention to detail is key, as well as your ability to carry the ball across the finish line.
  • You are comfortable having uncomfortable conversations. You can have these with the client, your client services team, your deliver team, anyone.

Our Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short term/long term disability insurance options to suit your lifestyle
  • 401K with matching
  • Generous parental leave policies
  • Team social events and employee appreciation events
  • Fun office environment with monthly company meetings, lunch and learns, and impromptu kegerator talk
